What is Religion?
(just one possible conclusion)

In all cases of Eastern or Western religion, it would seem that a spiritual life has to do with how the self relates to and with the cosmos and, in turn, to other aspects of the cosmos (to other "selves").

Religion, thus, has the purpose of making us more than we currently are (or think we are): to transform us.

Religion is: the quest to transform and transcend the current state of our being through relationship with a greater reality which impacts on our day to day life and relationships with everything around us.
