Sikhism |
|
Sikhism is a relatively recent and monotheistic religion of India. Little more than 500 years old, Sikhs now number between 20-25 million worldwide. Most still live in the Punjab area of Northwest India, where the faith began but Sikhs can be found right here in America. The hallmark of this faith is its stress on social equality, including the equality of women along with simple, honest living and devotion to the one God of all humanity.
