10 points per problem. Partial credit given. Score scaled to 100.

No scratch paper.

You will write your answers on the test paper provided. The amount of space given for each problem is a guide to how long your answer should be. I work out each problem and then add some space for you. If you need extra space, write on the back of the page, telling me that you are doing so.

3. Short essay questions.

Criteria for essay questions

1. Is what you say true?

2. Is your answer relevant to the question?

3. Does your answer show understanding of the topic?

Your answer to an essay question should require no more than a few sentences.
